Gothic Horrors is a deluxe expansion for the game Maximum Apocalypse. The supernatural exists. Unspeakable horrors await those who go out at night. Vampires drain the life away of their victims while cultists summon strange creatures. We're hoping that we can scrape together enough supplies to survive without our minds snapping, but it is a heavy burden to bear. Maximum Apocalypse: Gothic Horrors brings two new apocalyptic scenarios, Cthulhu and Vampires. Face life draining vampires, ghouls and werewolves in a classic monster set or try and stop a bunch of cultists from summoning Cthulhu or other unspeakable Lovecraftian horrors. Each apocalypse brings new gameplay mechanics such as the Insanity deck of phobias or the new night/day event deck. This expansion also adds two brand new survivor characters, the Priest and Ronin. Each character has their own unique survivor abilities deck of abilities and equipment cards. The Priest is a devout believer in humanity who offers protection from unspeakable evils. The new Ronin is a close-range combatant with dual purpose cards that changes based on her combat stance.
